FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. What is Mentorship Mondays? How does that differ from the online school/classes?

A. Mentorship Mondays is a LIVE ZOOM lecture you can choose to join, and ask questions in/interact. Or you can stream the lesson later. Mentorship Mondays was created as a way to easily, frequently, and consistently teach on so many topics that both ARE also taught in the online school, but also are NOT taught in the online school and go beyond it, into many different areas. The MM zoom class gives a DEEP lecture on many different topics.
The online school "The Dominatrix Arts Online" is a shiny, polished, recorded lesson that is NOT live. It often shows demonstrations with many toys, objects, and more. It might dive deeper on subjects taught in Mentorship Mondays. That will be launched in mid 2026.

Q. Why is there a Mentoship Monday class which is Part 1 and Part 2? Are they congruent? Do I need to take both of them?

A. If a part 2 is added to a class, it is likely even more information is added, leaving off from where the Part 1 stopped. Part 2 might be taught by a different instructor and may be bringing in a different viewpoint/method which might be nice to see. Always read class descriptions.

Q. How much money will I make as a professional dominatrix?

A. This is a common question received by pro dommes. Income can vary depending on so many factors. The factors are:

-Location of business incall, which is taught at our retreats
-Business strategies applied, which are taught at our retreats
-Excellent marketing, which is taught at our retreats
-Developing a great brand, which is taught at our retreats
-Diversifying your income streams, which is taught at our retreats
-Maintaining professionalism throughout your career, which is taught at our retreats
-Giving a positive experience to a client who felt safe, validated, and with the skills needed for the scene at hand.
-Fully understanding what you were taught and applying it.
-Constantly trying to learn, and never assuming you know it all.
-Not expecting huge success to happen overnight, instead pathing
a way forward through hard work and dedication.

Some people are naturally a good fit for this career and tend to do quite well. Sometimes, there are those who do not seem to have a knack for it. Every individual experience is different. Some part-time folks have easily pulled in $50,000 a year with minimal effort. Some highly established Mistresses top $450,000/yr in more full-time efforts or with hired assistants and stellar organizational strategies with their businesses. It's best not to compare. Instead, focus on your own individual abilities, goals, and your own life overall. Taking criticism and changing your ways is the key to success in this field. Know that you not only have to deliver a great experience but also become as business savvy as possible. It takes BOTH to succeed in a big way.
Be open to accepting that there are things you can change and do differently, as long as you are comfortable with those changes. Look at others as inspiration, not competition.

Q. Are shorter private mentorships offered?

A. We offer consultations via Zoom in 2-hour packages at $600 and 4-hour packages at $900. Packages cannot be broken up into shorter packages or roll over time into future packages.
We will break for 15 minutes halfway through the 4hrs.
We suggest having a lot of questions readily available before we begin.

Q. Why are shorter in-person mentorship packages not offered?

A. We have so much experience mentoring people for many long years. We have found that it is most beneficial to the mentee as well as the mentor to fully dive into this knowledge and for you to get as much information as you can, so you are ready to move forward in ways that are going to give you the maximum readiness. Otherwise, people end up coming back to us frequently for more and more knowledge, in very scattered methods, that they would have been given before, if they had stuck with the whole program.
Pro Domme schedules are limited and mentees have in the past wanted such a long online, specially designed program for them, which is broken up into a large number of small online classes. They then wanted to shift and reschedule too often, and our schedules do not allow that kind of flexibility.
We find most mentees do not complete large, broken-up programs and the rescheduling of broken-up programs has led to a lot of wasted time in our already limited schedules and has caused a lot of frustration. We simply want to offer a 3-day, intense, dedicated, educational experience so we can both move on to other things, with the opportunity to be there for you monthly with assistance.

Online consults give the flexibility to ask for knowledge at times that work best for everyone, per consult. More consults can be scheduled as needed. We do not offer an entire mentorship program from start to finish online broken up into 20 online courses for example. It doesn't work well.

Q. Do mentorships take 3 days?

A. They absolutely can. It depends on the amount of previous experience the mentee has, and if she would like to use any additional time to continue with skill improvement, help with website redesign, or if she feels she is fulfilled. If there is time left, we would never take it away from you, although the last day tends to be shorter in general.

Q. Does the Sparrow program mean that I am a dominatrix now?

A. Yes and no. You are a new and aspiring dominatrix who now has to apply the things we have taught you in order to have success. A dominatrix gains experience with time and effort, and this is a job where the learning never stops and is lifelong. You will gain experience in the job itself, and applying what we taught you will give you an enormous advantage.
We are trying to give you the tools most people in the industry did not have and took many years to understand or obtain, so you can have a better career, and are happier. The school is only taught by reputable professionals, so you have guidance from the best there is.

Q. I am unsure about making the leap.

A. There is no college or licensing program in order to do this very involved and complex career. We are expected to figure this out on our own and that is very hard. Sometimes the mentors we seek, are not that successful themselves after all and do not have all of the answers, because they too did not have proper education.
As time passes and you struggle in the industry, that is more time that could have been spent building your business and making a larger income. That is more clients who will be happier seeing you and return to see you. Most of us know that paying for any class is worth it, even if we just learn 1 new trick. 1 new trick could be the difference between making $20,000 more a year, being more organized, having less stress, and more such benefits. Imagine what learning 50 new tricks could do? One thing we teach is that you cannot rewind time and have a do-over. Time will pass. Education is everything in this business. What kind of career do you wish to have?
When I can take people who are struggling and teach them what I know, watch them blossom, buy a home, and be happy in what it is that they are doing, I know we are doing the work needed, work missing from this industry that is very much needed. -Mistress Michelle

Q. Are male submissives at the home?

A. Male submissives will not be staying with us in the main house for your privacy and consideration. Only a few trusted subs known by us for many long years whom we are very close, will be invited for live demo and practice times. There will be no males wandering around the home and invading your personal space, and they will not be present for classes that are not live demos. You are in a safe space and with safe people always.

Q. Where does the retreat take place?

A. At the Siren House, Michelle's private estate in the FL panhandle near Destin, Florida. We have 10 bedrooms and 9.5 bathrooms. Unless you are sharing a room with a friend by request (some rooms have 2 beds), you will be in your own room. Some bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and these are first-come, first serve as people sign up. If sharing a bathroom, it would only be with 1 other Mistress.

Q. What airports are nearby?

A.
VPS (20-30 min)
Panama City Beach (50 min)
Pensacola (1hr 15 min)

Q. Should I rent a car?

A. You won't have much time to leave and explore (of course you are free to do what you choose with your time). Meals are provided and Uber Eats/Instacart is able to go to the house with no problems. Nothing is within walking distance at all.
